Visual content built on industry depth
Background
I started Visual Spaces in 2014. Before that, I spent close to two decades in software development, building custom business applications for commercial clients including real estate and property development firms. And before that I studied Town and Regional Planning and worked 6 years as a planning technician, where I worked across GIS, infrastructure design, and land use planning.
That sequence matters. Most visual content providers come from photography or design. I came up through planning and software first. I understand how a development moves from site analysis and DA approval through to construction, sales, and handover. I understand what a view corridor analysis is, why it matters to a developer, and how to communicate it visually.
Developers don't need another photographer. They need someone who understands the full project lifecycle and can produce the right visual content at each stage of it.
That's the gap Visual Spaces fills. Not a generalist agency, not a real estate photographer. A visual content studio built specifically for property development, from pre-DA through to post-build.
How I work
Visual Spaces is a sole operator studio. Every project is handled by me personally, which means there's no account manager translating your brief into something a junior producer interprets on the other end. You deal directly with the person holding the camera, building the model, or flying the drone.
My software background shows up in how I approach technical problems. I've built custom platforms for interactive view intelligence, location mapping, and construction documentation. The technical side of visual content, panoramic platforms, drone waypoint missions, 3D visualisation pipelines, isn't outsourced to a vendor. It's built in-house.
I also work alongside marketing agencies rather than competing with them. Visual Spaces supplies the production component. Strategy, brand, and campaign management stay with the agency.
What I produce
Visual Spaces covers the full development lifecycle. The work is structured around where a project sits, not around a fixed service menu.
Who I work with
Most of my work is with mid-tier property developers across South East Queensland. Long-term relationships with a small number of clients are the norm. I've worked with Mulpha for over a decade across multiple projects at Sanctuary Cove, delivering everything from pre-sales renders and interactive platforms through to post-build photography and virtual tours.
I also work with project marketers, commercial agents, and the specialist consultants who sit around a development. If a project has a visual content problem, I'm usually the right call.
