Landscape Completion Photography for Cowper Street Park, Byron Bay

December 31, 2025 - 1 minute read

This project focused on capturing the completed landscape and public infrastructure works at Cowper Street in Byron Bay, delivered for LD Total following construction handover.

The brief was simple and specific. Document the finished landscape as it is experienced on the ground. The park has been designed as a usable public space, not just something to be viewed from above, so the photography needed to reflect scale, flow, and how the space connects with its surroundings.

Photography was captured once all landscaping and infrastructure elements were complete. This included hardscape detailing, planting, pathways, seating, and integrated public amenities. Care was taken to show how materials, levels, and finishes come together across the site, as well as how the space functions as a cohesive whole.

Lighting and timing were chosen to keep colours natural and avoid overly stylised results. The goal was accuracy and clarity, giving LD Total a reliable visual record of the finished works that could be used for portfolio, submissions, and long-term project documentation.

This type of completion photography sits at the intersection of documentation and presentation. It provides a clear record of what was delivered, while still presenting the project in a way that reflects the quality of the work and the intent behind the design.
